Perseverance – 7th Grader Chosen to Name NASA's Mars 2020 Rover

CAPE CANAVERAL, FL – Perseverance – that’s the outstanding winning name NASA has chosen to name the Mars 2020 rover based on an outstanding essay submitted by 7^th grader Alex Mather of Virginia for NASA’s nationwide contest where kindergarten through 12^th grade students across the United States submitted essays to "Name the Rover."
